Vaughn is so wrapped up in his own insecurities and anger and childhood trauma and its devastating at times to read (and and and). I love how he is an artist, despite his demeanor (though I suppose all artists may have a bit of a dark side), and that he sculpted. Like, thank you LJS for creating a strong male character who is artistic, and not like basic artistic. Vaughn is a genius, on so many levels. His slow progression from angry and closed off to protective and loving while maintaining some of his darkness is just, ah *chefs kiss*.
